Have You Discovered Crowd Mountain?
As you may have noticed, it has been a while since I have posted anything about building affiliate niche stores. I first started with affiliate niche marketing a little over a year ago when I found Build a Niche Store software. It is great software and I have made regular money every month since I started using it.
I am still very much a newbie in the internet marketing world and use the free BANS forum and related blogs daily to learn the ins and outs of selecting a niche, keyword research, adding content, search engine optimization… All the things you need to do to make your niche site successful. Lately though, I have found I need something more, or maybe it is just something different to move my business to the level I want.
I have recently discovered a new membership site called Crowd Mountain that Michelle MacPhearson opened on 3/1/09. There are 4 components to Crowd Mountain starting with Boot Camp which includes 6 modules:
- Niche the Niche – Teaches you how to find the most profitable niches and keyword research and includes is a 17 page printable workbook and training videos, to name just a couple.
- Optimize for Size - Now that you have chosen the most profitable keyword for your niche, this module teaches you how to build a customized website optimized for that keyword. There is also a downloadable workbook, homework assignments, a free affiliate profit generating and SEO enhancer plugin.
- Content Architecture – We all know that in order to rank high in the search engines, especially Google, we have to have content rich websites. This module teaches you what kind of content you need. There is also a plugin for easily finding and and publishing content and a second private plugin.
- Monetization Station – Shows you how to find the best ways to use your site to make the most money.
- Search Engine Assault – Teaches you what you need to know for your site to get Google love.
- Power Networking – Is all about how to use social networking to turn your niche into and authority site.
All this is in just the first component. If you want to read the rest, it is all outline on the Crowd Mountain website. I am really excited about this and feel it offers the intense training I need to get me over the hump to making real income from my affiliate niche stores. There is also a Task Manager that I think will keep me on focused and on target.
I cannot say how it is working for me yet, as I have just joined and am only on the first module.
